Change Your Oil For Summer MidMod The exhibition included works byAn original, and rare, Shell lorry poster designed by John Castle, 1953. Shell launched their new lubricant X 100 in 1949, following the lifting of a wartime embargo on petrol advertising. Posters in this format were designed to be displayed on the sides of the companys road lorries. A higher resolution image is available for viewing on request.
